Twenty20 Motorcycle Camera - $299.99 USD
Twenty20 would like to introduce you to the only Motorcycle Camera designed to fit any type of bike in the most extreme riding conditions. What is a motorcycle cam you ask?
The Twenty20 Motorcycle Camera is made exclusively for the street rider/cruiser/racer. Whatever you go by, this is your camera! The set features a voltage regulator to connect your camera right to the bike's battery. That's right, no more changing batteries to capture your next ride. Additionally, the Twenty20 Motorcycle Camera includes a rubber-to-metal-to-rubber, anti-vibration motorcycle mount, that is fully articulating so you can apply it to any part of the bike. This way you can actually get multiple filming angles off your bike with a very smooth picture.
Use your Motorcycle Camera for your track days, group rides, or any other on road adventure you can imagine.

New Camera Technology
Twenty20 has partnered with OmniVision, an award winning semiconductor manufacturer and world renowned designer of CMOS camera
chips, to introduce their latest OmniPixel2 technology to our action sports cameras. The release of the 2007 camera allows Twenty20
to be the first CMOS based Motorcycle Camera to rival CCD cameras in quality, while maintaining advantages in size (3" x 1"), weight (4oz.),
power source, durability (1yr. warranty), availability (your local dealer) and price ($299.99). Want to learn more about
OmniPixel2 technology?

The unique housing for the Twenty20 camera uses aluminum material to ensure the camera chip stays dry and protected from the most extreme conditions. The wiring is supported with a strain relief so don't worry about pulling the wiring out of the back. Twenty20 is proud to make a user friendly, but extremely durable Motorcycle Camera.

It keeps on going, and going, and going...
It’s better than the Duracell bunny and it lasts even longer than the little blue pill. It's the Twenty20 voltage regulator. Now you can power your Twenty20 Motorcycle Camera for as long as you want.
The voltage regulator included with the Twenty20 system is built with an internal fuse and reverse wiring protection, which means improper installs aren't going to ruin your camera. And with our simple positive and negative leads means the installation can be done in minutes.
The voltage regulator makes the Twenty20 Motorcycle Camera one of a kind. It’s the only system built for those who love racing, riding, and cruising.

Kill the shakes
When we designed the Twenty20 Motorcycle Camera we had one goal in mind... To create an ON-BIKE POV filming experience for any motorcycle enthusiast. The Twenty20 Motorcycle Camera uses a rubber-to metal-to-rubber mount system that takes vibration out of the picture. The mount is fully articulating, allowing you to change camera angles whenever you like. A double sided adhesive pad is included so you don't have to drill anything into your bike.
The motorcycle mount is perfect for long rides, track days, races, anything you want to do on your bike. Now you can capture angles you never thought possible.

Beauty by Design
Back to the difference between Twenty20 and all the other "stuff" out there. We actually manufacture every component of our camera systems. That means the wiring harness and connectors are specifically designed for you, and we’re not just saying that. The wiring harness (see image top of page) includes a simple junction 6 inches from the battery pack to split the single wire into the record cable (2ft), microphone cable (4ft), and camera cable (4ft), plus a 15-inch disconnect behind the camera so you can disconnect the camera from the bike.
The aircraft aluminum connectors used will lock into place so there is no need for duct tape to keep the camera from disconnecting during the rough sections. Go ahead and find someone else who makes the wires just for you, we dare you.

The Oh S@#! Mic
What good is a POV video with out a few expletives? Each system comes wired with an external microphone so you can decide what sounds you actually want. Since the microphone isn’t stuck in the camera you can capture your own audio by clipping it to your jersey, or just keep the mic. under your seat because you’ll still pick up the sounds of your ride. The high gain Twenty20 microphone is perfect for commentating on your surroundings or catching the rev of the finely tuned machine your sitting on. |

One Size fits All, well almost...
In the Motorcycle Camera world you NEED TO CARRY A RECORDER to store the video. With that demon out of the closet, there are no camera companies making their own recorders, although many say they do. Don’t get tricked into paying too much for a repackaged recorder that you could have paid half an much for at Best Buy. The truth is your local electronics stores are still the best place to shop for a recording device, and anyone who says otherwise is being misleading.
We are very passionate about making sure each customer gets the right device to fit their individual needs and we encourage you to call or email us if you would like some suggestions.
Also, if you haven’t noticed by now we are equally dispassionate about those (who will remain nameless) who sell complete kits for a ridiculously high price, with ridiculously low video quality. Again we encourage you to shop around, do the research, and even ask us questions, because we’ll give you candid answers knowing that you’ll come back to us in the end.
No matter the Motorcycle Camera you MUST HAVE AN A/V (audio/video) INPUT. The S-Video or DV (Digital Video) inputs will NOT WORK for any POV camera you buy . The Twenty20 camera includes a standard 3.5mm mini-jack plug to connect directly to the A/V input on your recording device. Not all devices use a 3.5mm plug so please visit the Twenty20 Compatibility Page to determine if you need any connectors. We provide the Radio Shack part numbers for any adapters you will need, just to make your life a bit easier.
To ensure your recording device has an A/V (Audio/Video) input please visit the Twenty20 Camcorder Compatibility List to view information on all the camcorders on the market.
Please contact Twenty20 Support if you have any further compatibility questions or need any help finding a recording device. |
